The 2025 Shanghai Marathon set off from the Bund’s Golden Bull Square on Sunday, with 23,000 runners from around the world tracing the city’s charm with their strides. Among them were 43 elite athletes from China and overseas, as well as 19 racing-wheelchair participants, making for a formidable lineup.
